Our Nanny Criteria
- At Least 18 Years of Age
- Several Years of Professional Childcare Experience
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Clean Background Check & Driving Record
- Able to commit at least one year of nannying, unless the position is advertised as temporary
- Authorized to work in the US

Our staff examines your resume and application to determine if your experience matches the needs of our client families.
Step 2
Face-to-Face Interview
Your application and resume only go so far. We also conduct interviews to better acquaint ourselves with you. The information we learn about your personality and experience helps us determine the ages and number of children to put in your care.
Step 3
Professional References
Your references are important resources in the application process. We only match nannies with excellent references to families.
Step 4
Portfolio to Families
We send your profile to families that you want to meet.
Step 5
Interview with Families
Our staff sets up interviews for families that want to meet you after reviewing your portfolio.
Step 6
Comprehensive Background Check and Driving Records
After you receive a job offer we use a professional company to conduct a comprehensive background check.
Step 7
Sign Employment Agreement
Once you accept a position with a family, we will provide you and the family with a customizable employment agreement.
Step 8
Nanny Knowledge Course
After you accept a position, you will complete the course before you begin working with the family. This is a great opportunity to sharpen your skills before starting a new position. You will also complete the INA Nanny Basic Skills Assessment which is a great addition to your resume.
